As I was organizing photos & cleaning up my laptop, I stumbled on these photos from our trip to DC in November.  Before my lengthy break, I mentioned this trip and that I wanted to share a packing post with you.  I decided to combine some packing photos with snaps from our time in the city.

Our time in DC was one of my favorite trips I’ve taken in a long time.  This surprised me because I’m not a history buff or someone who follows political matters closely.   I do, however, have a profound respect for our soldiers (past & present), law enforcement, and all the heroes who put their lives on the line for the good of others on a daily basis.  I absolutely loved being in a place where most people seemed so full of respect for each other and for our country.  AMEN.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit, I highly recommend it.  For those of you who live in DC or near, your city is truly amazing!
